To have a Bilingual Education is effective to any new immigrant students. Why it is effective? Certainly, there has several reasons to explain it. Any newcomers who came to the United States from different countries of this world have common problems in speaking, writing, and reading in English. For this reason, perhaps some people might say " we should forget our own language, it is not useful for us anymore in this country. The only thing that we should concentrate on is learning more English." Hum, it seems good in theory, but on the other hand, it does not work for them. Because they do not comprehend English that much. Usually, they set confused with the grammar, misunderstand the words, etc. The puzzle is always in their mind. Besides, the most terrible thing that would happen is they would lose confidence to study. That also causes their grade to lower or even fail. I am a new immigrant too. I feel very proud of myself because I chose the right school. Murry Bergtraum is a Business High School. It provides us a bilingual class. This policy helps us a lot to learn some subjects. China is the place where we were born. Any Chinese should remember our own culture and language forever. It has a long history. Therefore, we have to take a Chinese lesson every day, positively, it can improve our native language and competence in self-expression. Ms. Wu, Ms.Chan, Mr. Wang and Mr. Wu are the great helper for our Bilingual House.

Studying well in our own language will bring us great help to learn English. Perhaps, if you are very good in Chinese that can give you many ideas in work in writing composition, essay, and stories… As you can see it really helps us to finish our work easily. Another benefit for us that nowadays, when you look at the newspaper, you can see most companies prefers to employ those who can speak mor e than one language.
