The poet's lover Lenore was died. He was really miss her. He wrote this poem to express his feeling. He was a senstive man. Even if a little sound could made him thoungh that was his wife. It was a dark night, he heard the tapping at his chamber door. That was not only once, his window also lattic. These sounds made him felt scared ant he though that is Lenore. When he sees a raven, who taps on a bust of pallas. He asked its name, but the bird said "nevermore". This bird made his mood get changed into a comic feeling.
